BOULDER OPAL PENDANT
Amazing...describes this Australian Boulder Opal. Ethically sourced from a Queensland mine located in Australia is where this beauiful opal was discovered. The opal is oval in shape and measures 15.5mm x 10.5mm and weighs 6.3ctw. 14k yellow gold surrounds the boulder opal as it rests upon a halo with beaded texture in sterling silver. The chain is a diamond cut cable chain measuring 18 inches in length with a lobster clasp closure. Added to the silver chain are three round links in 14k yellow gold that was given a soft, hammered finish.
I was drawn to different layers I could see within this opal...which left me daydreaming of our hikes along the Temperance River, the clear water flowing around the boulders...reflection of the sun bouncing off of the water creating a beautiful play of color.
